1. KOLBE WINDOWS & DOORS / WAUSAU WI
1MW Grid Tied, Roof-Mounted PV System
Northwind Solar designed and installed a 1 MW rooftop solar array for Kolbe Windows & Doors in Wausau, Wisconsin. The 2,061-panel system generates approximately 1.26 million kWh annually, offsetting 31.8% of the facility’s electricity use while reducing long-term energy costs and strengthening energy independence. The project also demonstrates Kolbe’s continued commitment to environmental stewardship and the local community.
2. DAIGLE BROTHERS INC. / TOMAHAWK, WI
337 kW Grid Tied, Ground-Mounted PV System
Northwind Solar designed and installed a 337 kW ground-mounted solar array for Daigle Brothers Inc. in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. The 544-panel system generates approximately 437,993 kWh annually, offsetting more than 100% of the company’s current electricity use while lowering long-term energy costs and increasing energy independence. The project also reflects Daigle Brothers’ commitment to environmental stewardship and the local community.

7. UWSP KIRBY LIBRARY & STUDENT RESOURCE CENTER, STEVENS POINT, WI
212.56 kW Grid Tied, Roof Mount Solar PV System
Northwind Solar designed and installed a custom solar electric system for UW–Stevens Point’s Kirby Library and Student Resource Center in partnership with Total Electric. The two-phase project totals 212.56 kW across 380 Qcells modules and generates approximately 276,000 to 319,000 kWh annually. The installation supports UWSP’s long-term campus sustainability goals while reducing electricity costs and avoiding an estimated 155 to 179 metric tons of carbon emissions each year. electricity use and delivering significant long-term energy savings. Those savings can be redirected toward CAP Services’ mission-driven programs, while the project also reduces the organization’s carbon footprint and supports its commitment to the community.
3. HANSEN FARM / DORCHESTER, WI
25 kW Grid Tied, Ground-mounted PV System
Northwind Solar designed and installed a 25 kW ground-mounted solar array for Hansen Family Farm in Dorchester, Wisconsin. The 52-panel system generates approximately 33,000 kWh annually, offsetting about 85% of the farm’s electricity use while lowering energy costs, improving farm resiliency, and increasing energy independence. The project also reflects the Hansen family’s commitment to environmental stewardship and their community.
4. CITY OF ANTIGO WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT / ANTIGO, WI
352.1 kW Grid Tied, Battery ESS Ground-mounted PV System
Northwind Solar designed and installed a 352.1 kW ground-mounted solar array with battery energy storage for the City of Antigo Wastewater Treatment Plant. The 726-panel system helps reduce the facility’s carbon impact, while the 125 kW battery is designed to lower utility costs through rate arbitrage and peak-demand shaving. Together, the solar and storage system strengthen municipal energy resilience and support more predictable long-term operating costs.
6. CAP SERVICES, STEVENS POINT, WI
41 kW Grid Tied, Roof Mount Solar PV System
Northwind Solar designed and installed a 41 kW rooftop solar array for CAP Services’ headquarters in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The 72-panel system generates approximately 47,354 kWh annually, offsetting about 74% of the building’s electricity use and delivering significant long-term energy savings. Those savings can be redirected toward CAP Services’ mission-driven programs, while the project also reduces the organization’s carbon footprint and supports its commitment to the community.
5. VILLAGE OF AMHERST, AMHERST, WI
12.96 kW Grid Tied, Roof Mount Solar PV System
Northwind Solar designed and installed a 12.96 kW rooftop solar array for the Village of Amherst’s administrative building in Amherst, Wisconsin. The 32-panel system offsets approximately 87% of the building’s electricity use and save an estimated $1,679 annually, helping reduce long-term costs for taxpayers.
